PierceHacker provides tutorials and other resources in order to help the Pierce College community develop new technical skills and better understand the ways in which technology shapes the work we do both in and out of the classroom.

Origins

PierceHacker began (and continues) as a project in a Technical Writing Course first taught at Pierce College in Fall 2018. The project is modeled after ProfHacker and The Programming Historian and further inspired by work in “Open Pedagogy” and the desire to move away from the “disposable assignment.”
